The reason I chose this project is that I really like music and I had the opportunity to build things. It gave me a lot of chances to show my skills in making things and that is also why I chose to do ID. The Group music improvisation system (GMIS) project of out of control is about multiple designers collaboratively design a multi-user system consisting of multiple different and unique devices acting individually and as a whole. If you look at the picture, you can see that the people are getting feedback in all kinds of ways. From each other, each other’s music, their own music and the musical devises interact with one another.
The main competencies that I developed were F & S and IT. The project contained a lot of electronics and programming and was very challenging. This project is all that I hoped to find at ID. The report explaines more about the whole process.
